Punjab University Programs and Merit Lists
Merit lists can be published separately because admission requirements and available seats differ between programs. Applicants may be searching for lists related to programs such as BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, BBA, LLB, Pharm-D, engineering disciplines, English, psychology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and other undergraduate degrees.
Punjab University also operates different campuses and constituent academic units. For this reason, students should check the exact campus and department selected on their application form.
The 2026-27 undergraduate admission notice also states that the PU Admission Test carries 25% weightage for non-engineering programs and 33% for engineering programs, subject to the applicable admission regulations.
What to Do After Selection in PU Merit List?
Finding your name in a merit list is only part of the admission process. A selected candidate should carefully read the instructions issued with the list and complete all requirements within the stated deadline.
Students should confirm their selected program and admission category, arrange the required original documents and copies, generate or obtain the applicable fee challan, deposit dues before the deadline and complete any departmental verification required by PU.
Missing the prescribed fee or document deadline can affect the admission offer, so candidates should follow the instructions published by their department rather than waiting for the next merit list.
