Punjab Board Roll No Slip 2026 If you’re a Matric student in Punjab, the roll number slip is the one document you absolutely cannot walk into your exam hall without. Every year around this time, thousands of students start searching for it and just as many run into the same problems: slip not loading wrong roll number showing or simply not knowing which website belongs to their board. This guide walks you through the entire process for both 9th and 10th class, board by board, along with the fixes for the problems students actually run into.

What Exactly Is a Roll No Slip And Why Does It Matter So Much?

Your roll number slip isn’t just a printout with your name on it. It’s the document that confirms:

  • Your official roll number for the 2026 annual exams
  • Your exact exam center and its address
  • Your date sheet subject-wise paper dates and timings
  • Your reporting time on exam day
  • Your photograph and registration details as recorded with the board

Without this slip, exam center staff will not let you sit for the paper no exceptions, even if you have your CNIC or school ID. That’s why it’s worth downloading it early rather than the night before your first paper.

How to Download Your 9th Class Roll No Slip 2026

  • Open your board’s official website from the table above.
  • Look for a menu item or banner labeled Roll Number Slip 2026 or 9th Class Admit Card.
  • You’ll usually be asked to enter one of the following: your registration number, your CNIC/Form B number, or your full name with father’s name.
  • Double-check the spelling exactly as it appears on your school registration form this is the single biggest reason slips fail to load.
  • Once your details match, the slip will open as a PDF. Download it and save a copy on your phone as backup.
  • Print at least two copies one for the exam hall, one to keep at home in case the first gets damaged or lost.

Common Problems Students Face And How to Fix Them

My slip isn’t showing up at all. This almost always means either the board hasn’t uploaded slips for your district yet, or there’s a mismatch between what you’re typing and what’s on record. Try your registration number instead of your name, or vice versa.

My name or father’s name is spelled wrong. Don’t panic this happens often due to data entry at the school level. Note it down, but still attend your exam with this slip; you can request a correction from your board’s office after the exam without it affecting your ability to sit the paper.

My exam center is very far from my house. Boards assign centers based on your registered institution, not your home address. If there’s a genuine hardship (medical, distance, security), you can submit an application to the board’s controller of examinations before the exam starts — but this needs to be done as early as possible, not last minute.

“I lost my printed slip a day before the exam.” Re-download it from the same portal — it doesn’t expire and you can print it as many times as you need.

What to Bring on Exam Day

  • Printed roll number slip (don’t rely on a phone screenshot — some centers require a physical copy)
  • Original CNIC or B-Form
  • Approved stationery only (boards are strict about calculators and mobile phones)
  • Arrive at least 30 minutes before your reporting time on the slip

Frequently Asked Questions

Most boards allow this, but a few also require your registration or roll number from the admission form. If CNIC alone doesn’t work, try combining it with your full name.

Contact your board’s regional office directly this needs an official correction, not something you can fix by re-downloading

Yes, Punjab boards use these terms interchangeably. Both refer to the same document required for exam entry.

Typically a few weeks before the exam start date, though this varies year to year and by board. Check your specific board’s announcements page for the confirmed 2026 schedule
